Software that fits
the way you work.

When spreadsheets, disconnected tools or an awkward system start getting in the way, I can help you find a practical improvement—and build it.

One useful improvement or a complete product · Bespoke scope and pricing

Practical places to start

Less working around your tools.

Start with the task people need to complete. We can then decide whether to connect what you have, improve it or build something new.

01 · Integrations & automation

Connect the information.

Move information between tools, reduce repeated data entry or make a manual handover more reliable, with clear checks for when something needs attention.

02 · Web applications

Build around the workflow.

A customer portal, an internal tool or a product with its own accounts and processes. Scope the smallest useful version before committing to a larger build.

03 · Mobile & desktop

Work where people need it.

Applications for real devices, with attention to the interface, performance, storage, updates and what happens when a connection or process fails.

Existing systems & technical rescue

You may not need to start again.

A stalled build, a fragile integration or software that has become hard to change needs understanding before another layer is added.

Understand what exists
Look at the current behaviour, code, dependencies and the workflow it supports. Identify the constraints and the parts worth preserving.
Agree a contained first step
Investigate a specific problem, fix a focused issue or test a risky assumption. If discovery is needed, scope and price it before it starts.
Make progress visible
Explain the options and trade-offs in plain language, with working progress and checks around the behaviour being changed.
Plan what comes next
Set out remaining risks, handover needs and any further work. Larger improvements can follow in agreed stages.

My work includes the Ply marketplace platform, the Infer Wallet Android app and Infer Desk desktop software. Those projects connect user-facing interfaces to APIs, data, storage and release workflows.

I also work with Move development, cryptographic proof systems and AI-assisted tools when a project calls for them. We choose the approach around the problem and the responsibility it creates.

Scope before complexity

Start with a conversation.

When spreadsheets get in the way
Is a small improvement worth discussing?

Yes. An awkward workflow, one integration or a contained fix can be a useful project in its own right. We can scope that without committing to a larger rebuild.

How do you price custom software?

Every engagement is priced individually. I’ll explain the scope, assumptions and cost before paid work begins. Where the unknowns are significant, the first proposal may be for a focused investigation.

Do I need to specify the technology?

No. Explain the task, who uses the system and where the problems appear. Share details of existing tools if you have them; the technical approach can follow from that.

Will I need AI?

Only if it is a useful fit. Many improvements are better served by a clear interface, a reliable integration or conventional automation. Where AI is appropriate, we discuss its limits and the review it needs.

What should I send you?

A short outline of the problem, the existing system or website, and any budget or timing constraints. Please leave passwords, access keys and private customer records out of the initial email.

Tell me what you have in mind.

A rough outline is enough. We’ll discuss the need and agree a scope and price before paid work starts.
